CSI’s Certification Program offers:

Construction Documents Technology (CDT) Certificate
Certified Construction Specifier (CCS)
Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA)
Certified Construction Product Representative (CCPR)
Each year, CSI's CDT program surprises thousands of candidates – including those with years of experience — with
information about Division 01, specs, submittals, substitutions and other topics that most people don't know. Here,
Robert Dye, RRC, FCSI, CCS, CCCA, mentions a few of the things he learned from the CDT.

CSI's advanced certifications can be the "magic word" in a conversation with a construction professional, according to
Chusid Associates' blog. "CCPR on your business card means you speak the same language as architects, engineers,
specifiers, contractors and other decision-makers – and that opens doors."

And if you speak the same language, you have a better chance of getting the job. Lee Orosco, FCSI, CCS, was hired in
2008 by Carollo Engineers of Arizona. The company had posted its job opening in CSI's Career Center in hopes of
finding a CCS.

"Their practice is based on CSI principles and formats," Orosco said. "They only advertised their position through CSI
because they decided that was the best place to find a CCS."
